This weekend rabid comic book fans finally got their first glimpse of Jared Leto as the Joker. Suicide Squad director David Ayers released a photo showing Leto in costume as the iconic villain. Although, “in costume” might not be the right choice of words—this version of the Joker is shirtless and covered with tattoos. You can see our take on the heavily inked Joker here.
We noticed that most of the Joker’s tattoos in the picture appear to be, well, Joker tattoos. So, if the Joker likes to get Joker tattoos you shouldn’t be surprised that comic book fans also like to ink themselves with tattoos of the Clown Prince of Crime. Check out this gallery to see some of the finest tattoos of the many different Jokers of the past. Who knows when we’ll see our first tattoo of Leto’s Joker but we’re guessing it’ll be pretty soon.
