I have to admit this right up front, despite being tattooed I am not big on needles. However, ask most needle-fearing tattooed people the question, "Hey, I thought you were afraid of needles? How come you have tattoos?" And the response most commonly given would be something in the vein of, "I don't know, but for some reason getting tattooed is not like getting a needle." And it isn't, being tattooed bears no resemblance to have a hypodermic needle stuck into your arm, or worse into your vein.
