Pantone is a company that is most often associated with the Pantone Matching System, which categories and identifies shades for various industries. Since the year 2000, Pantone has announced a Color of the Year—which will be celebrated for the next 365 days. Twice a year, color specialists from around the world meet in Europe to decide upcoming year's color—which connects with the spirit of the time or zeitgeist.
