While almost everyone knows someone with a tongue piercing, it's much less common to meet someone with a split tongue. Tongue splitting has steadily grown in popularity over the past several decades, as certain body mods come into the public eye and gain media attention. We had the opportunity to meet someone eager to have the procedure done and we documented the process from beginning to end.
