Throughout the month of October, our nation honors survivors during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From October 1st through the 31st, major organizations host charities and events to promote awareness about the disease and raise money for research. Some of the most popular events include The National Race for the Cure, Breast Cancer Today and the Susan G. Komen 3 Day. In the past, INKED has recognized the courage and strength of survivors by providing free mastectomy tattoos for women affected by the disease. And in October of 2017, we featured 12 breast cancer survivors on the cover of our first INKED For a Cause Issue.
